NOTE 1: X11 is no longer a part of macOS (since OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion). Apple moved to the XQuartz project some time ago (more info here). NOTE 2: Starting with OS X 10.5 (Leopard) X11 came installed by default. Unless you went out of your way not to install it during the Leopard installation, you’ll find it in /usr/X11. As of OS X Mountain Lion, Apple no longer installs the X11.app by default, which was previously needed to run any X11 applications. If you're using iCloud for the relevant media the synchronisation is automatic via the internet. If you want to synchronise media manually via USB cable/check the summary of your iOS device/back it up/update it, you can still do this via the Sidebar in macOS 10.15 Catalina's Finder - iOS devices appear under the 'Locations' heading.Q.
